Size Guide

Sometimes buying clothes online can be challenging, particularly in relation to fit.

Below is a guide as to how we measure our clothes to ensure you find the best fit for you. All measurements are taken with the item laid flat. So the entire front and back will be double what you see. For example, if the measurement is 42cm when lying flat, the entire front and back is 84cm.

For best results when comparing these measurements to yourself we recommend that you compare to a garment you already have that fits you well. Lay your garment flat and measure each level (bust, waist, hip and length) as shown and that will give you the best idea.

Measurements

DRESSES
We take up to four measurements for our dresses. 

  • Bust - measure underneath the armpits across the garment
  • Waist - taken at the slimmest part through the body of the garment. If it is elasticated we will mention this.
  • Hips - the widest part of your lower body. We only include this for snug fitted dresses. If the dress is A-line or is free flowing we will not include this measurement.
  • Length - top of shoulder to hem line of garment when lying flat


TOPS & JACKETS
We take up to four measurements for our tops and jackets. 

  • Bust - measure underneath the armpits across the garment
  • Waist - taken at the slimmest part through the body of the garment. We will include the waist measurement if the top is fitted around the waist.
  • Hips - we will include this if the top or jacket is fitted and sits below the hips.
  • Sleeve length - measure from shoulder seam to end of sleeve
  • Length - top of shoulder to hem line of garment when lying flat


SKIRTS
We take up to three measurements for our skirts.

  • Waist band - across the top of the skirt. If it is elasticated we will mention this.
  • Hip - if free flowing or A line style we will not include this measurement.
  • Length - top of the waist band to the bottom of the hem line.


JEANS, PANTS  & SHORTS
We take four measurements for our jeans, pants and shorts.

  • Waistband - across the top of the garment. Sometimes the waist may sit on the hips or higher on the waist depending on the style. If the waistband is elasticated we will mention this.
  • Rise - top of waistband to crotch.
  • Inseam - inside of leg from crotch seam to bottom hem
  • Width of hem opening - end of pant leg or shorts across bottom hem


FOOTWEAR

  • Inner sole - approx. measurement of inside sole
  • Outer sole - total measurement of outside sole
  • Width - width across the sole at widest point
  • Heel - heel height
  • Height - length of boot excluding heel
